Important Billing Considerations

• We do not use a retainer. Instead, we bill clients via credit card at end of each appointment.
• While we bill clients hourly for mediation, we charge a flat fee for completion of all paperwork required to obtain a divorce or legal separation.
• The typical cost of a mediated divorce or legal separation (both hourly mediation fees and flat fee for paperwork) is between $6,500 and $12,000.
• The total cost of mediation is primarily driven by (i) the degree of conflict between the parties, and (ii) the complexity of the parties’ finances.
